Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins!

Just thought I'd give my first impressions on "Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins!". Overall, this was actualy a pretty good movie. The mystery was good, CG Scooby wasn't completely terrible, and the ending where they combined the intros from Scooby Doo: Where Are You and What's New Scooby Doo was cool. There were a few problems I had but I'll go into that in my review. Overall, a really fun movie. If you're a fan of Scooby Doo, this is reccommended. 4/5.

Fourth Scooby Movie In The Works?

Source: Moviehole.net

Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins hasn't even aired yet, but that's not stopping WB from planning a sequel. In a recent interview with MovieHole.net. Robbie Amell{Fred} says a sequel is already being talked about.
"“There’s a second script”, that would serve as a sequel, says Amell. “In the first film, we save our first mystery – but by the end of the mystery we’ve destroyed a lot of stuff. The next one would be set at a Lake Resort – a Summer Camp kind-of setting – where we’re forced to work to pay off the damage we made in the first film.

Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins premeires on Cartoon Network on September 13th and will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray September 22nd.

Frank Welker in Transformers 2, Box Art For SDWAY! Vol. 2, and Release Date Change For New Scooby Animated Movie

Well, this is somewhat Scooby related. Apperently Micheal Bay said on his offical message board that he wants Frank Welker to reprise his role of Soundwave in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

I think I'm going to pursue Frank on Soundwave.

Michael

Of course Welker was the voice of Soundwave and Megatron in the original Transformers cartoon, and has been doing the voice of Fred in Scooby Doo for the past 40 years and is doing the voice of Scooby in the upcoming live action prequel.

Amazon has the front and back Box art for Scooby Doo: Where Are You! Season 1: Volume 2. You can check that out here. Volume 2 contains episodes 5 to 8 of the original Scooby Doo series plus a bonus episode of Shaggy and Scooby Doo: Get A Clue!.
